Expert Faculty | Panel Discussion on Head & Neck Oncology

The 2nd Annual Conference of ONCOWIN – ONCOWIN UPDATE 2024 was successfully held on 31st August and 1st September 2024 at Hotel Narayani Heights, Ahmedabad. The event brought together leading oncologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals from across the country to share insights, discuss advancements, and collaborate on improving cancer care outcomes.

Dr. Dipali Vaghela, Cancer Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Specialist, was invited as an Expert Faculty Member for the conference. She actively participated as a Panelist in the Head and Neck Session held on 31st August 2024 (9:40 AM to 10:20 AM), contributing to a panel discussion on
“MDT Borderline Resectable Oral Cavity Cancer.”

During the discussion, Dr. Vaghela highlighted the crucial role of multidisciplinary teamwork (MDT) in the management of complex cancer cases and emphasized the importance of post-treatment rehabilitation in improving patient recovery, functionality, and overall quality of life.

Her participation reflected her deep commitment to holistic cancer care — addressing not only the disease but also the patient’s physical and emotional rehabilitation journey.
